So I really, really, REALLY enjoyed this. It’s super cute and you can tell that a lot of love went into it which is rare in little indie games. I thought the price might’ve been a bit high originally but then when I actually played it I realised it had undersold its size, this game is pretty dang huge. There’s 40 levels across 4 zones but each level has unlockable extra areas after you complete a zone so that’s like 80 levels! I personally found normal mode a bit challenging after I got to the 3rd zone so I ended up switching to “cosy mode” and hoo boy lemme tell you something, cosy mode is hyper sweet! I whizzed through the first three zones and only died like maybe 10 times vs my previous 250 times on normal mode so yeah its definitely cosy! Plus there are these cute little checkpoint benches and ugh it just so freakin nice! The music is so calming and you can tell they put so much effort into it. Don’t even get me started on all of the different character designs! I guess theres 40 chararacters because theres been one per level so far and all of those lil mushrooms look different and unique and so cute! The dialogue is also hilarious and it changes when you replay a level so theres SOOOOO much dialogue in this game and its all had me laughing so hard! 10/10 would highly recommend 10/10 for music 10/10 for character designs 10/10 for adding a cosy mode for people 10/10 for dialogue so thats like 50/50, scores don’t get much higher than that!100CottageCore
