SPYxANYA: Operation Memories will officially be launching for Western audiences on June 28, 2024. The game is based on the unique slice-of-life manga and anime series called Spy x Family, which is centered around the charming Forger family: Anya, a five-year-old telepath; Loid, a super spy; and Yor, an assassin. As the three bond as a new family, they hide their secret identities from each other as they also work to achieve world peace by preventing a war.
SPYxANYA: Operation Memories was revealed during the last Nintendo Direct showcase in September before releasing in Japan in December. The Direct did not give a specific release date for the game, so most Western audiences wondered exactly when they would be able to play SPYxANYA: Operation Memories. Now, the wait is almost over for gamers.
Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for SPYxANYA: Operation Memories on YouTube, which has revealed that the title will launch on June 28, 2024 for the Switch, PS4, and PS5, with the Steam edition coming later. According to the trailer, players will take control of Anya, who has been tasked to create a photo diary for a homework assignment. Players will have to take exciting photos to complete the diary while navigating through Anya’s daily life as she goes to Eden College and returns home in the evening, where the Forger family will decide on where to visit for their next outing. SPYxANYA: Operation Memories will also feature several minigames divided into categories, such as Home Life, where players can participate in activities like Peanut Bowling, Peanut Time, and Yuri’s Cusine.
When is SPYxANYA: Operation Memories Launching?
SPYxANYA: Operation Memories will have a variety of outfit options for players to style the entire family in order for them to look their best as they visit one of the ten destinations that will be available in the game. The SPYxANYA: Operation Memories trailer also revealed that the game will have a Digital Deluxe Edition that includes the base game, an outing pack for Anya, along with two DLCs that have different costumes for the Forger family that they wore in the anime and manga.
