Description

Building on the studio’s experience in racing games and feedback from players of the first game, OVERPASS 2 will offer a more in-depth and improved experience. In the game, drivers compete in races and try to set the best time on extreme tracks behind the wheel of powerful and officially licensed ATVs and UTVs.

Developed in Unreal Engine 5, the game has a wide variety of content with 37 vehicles in three different categories, five environments, 31 circuits, and multiple race modes, including a much deeper career mode. Players must control the vehicles’ power and skillfully navigate the track to overcome obstacles and win competitions.

In many ways, Overpass 2 is a better game than its predecessor, but at the same time it still leaves some gaps. For example, the AI is completely retarded and sponsor goals are nonsensical, also the graphics are a bit weak. However, the game is full of variety in routes, has a nice career mode and the purchase price is very reasonable. Fan of the original? Then this is an okayish sequel that is at least better.65PlaySense
Overpass 2 definitely got more out of me than its predecessor. The career mode felt more engaging, even if I still prefer to avoid the tougher hill climbs. Driving feels a little loose but the lack of physical feedback made it hard for me to judge grip. The multi-disciplined nature of it does give you plenty of variety but the AI can be terrifying to race against. It’s still rough around the edges but I did enjoy some of my time with it.60PlayStation Country
