About The Loomsong Chronicle Idle

Build the party. Open the portal. See whether your party survives.

The Loomsong Chronicle Idle is a 2D-HD party-based idle action RPG set in the mythic science-fantasy Galaxy of the Glittersong. Create a permanent main character, build a twelve-person roster, and field up to six adventurers at once.

You choose their formation, roles, equipment, weapon sets, abilities, supplies and when to retreat. Your party explores and fights autonomously, putting those decisions to the test.

A Never Before Seen Party AI System

Each adventurer has an individual role, target, route and job while working toward the party’s shared objective. Tanks establish threat, healers respond to injuries, hunters pursue moving prey, and gatherers leave formation to collect resources.

Your companions open locked chests, retrieve loot, revive allies and support distant workers. Movement, positioning, equipment and ability choices matter because every character acts within the expedition itself.

Use Party Practice to test a setup without risking your campaign, then inspect Combat Reports and the Ability Monitor to understand how it performs.

Build Your Characters

Choose from 9 playable races with 18 character appearances. Develop six core attributes and 37 learn-by-doing proficiencies spanning weapons, armor, magic, gathering, crafting and survival.

Shape each character with 69 Traits and 297 Masteries, illustrated with individual card art. Character and proficiency progression have no fixed level ceiling.

Choose Hardcore for permanent recruit deaths or Softcore to preserve your roster after defeat. Your main character survives a full party wipe in either mode, but preparation and retreat still matter.

Explore Worlds and Face Greater Challenges

Explore 8 persistent expeditions with distinct terrain, wildlife, resources, equipment families, enemies and secrets. Uncover fog-covered routes, fight roaming groups, open locked chests and confront each world’s Guardians.

Face 120 expedition enemy archetypes with 292 authored combat actions. Monster and Expedition Modifiers change the conditions your party must overcome.

Push further into 4 Grand Expeditions, challenge 9 Pinnacle boss encounters, or test your limits in the Endless Tower and Endless Dungeon. Discover 21 story assignments, 36 regional commissions and 152 collectible lore books along the way.

Loot Worth Building Around

Discover 910 equipment and book bases, 143 affixes, 38 Uniques, 9 Artifacts and 15 rune families. Build around melee weapons, bows, crossbows, pistols, blaster rifles, magical implements, Tomes and Blood Orbs.

Equip 20 armor and accessory positions, an Artifact, and two complete weapon sets with eight ability slots per set. Prepare dedicated tools and automatic potion belts that respond to injuries, depleted Mana and harmful conditions.

Dismantle equipment to learn construction tiers, disenchant gear to learn enchantments, and use 576 equipment recipes to build your loadouts. Cooking, Alchemy, refining, rune crafting and book copying give your gathered materials further uses.

Master Abilities and Create Your Own

Learn 65 abilities covering attacks, elemental magic, healing, revival, defense, stealth, movement, support and summoning. Five racial abilities and additional Relic and Artifact powers provide further ways to specialize.

Ability Weaving lets a skilled Scribe combine compatible mastered abilities into new Woven Skill Books. Choose the delivery, appearance, effects and casting costs, then teach the finished ability to your characters.

Conjurers can fight beside persistent summons, including Fire, Frost and Lightning Elementals. Collect pets from 14 species and equip two at a time to gather field loot as they grow.

Develop Your Player Town

Find the specialists who establish seven Player Town services. Improve future recruits, train reserves, reset Traits and Masteries, upgrade equipment and purchase exclusive gear.

At the Grand Temple, Ascension resets character levels while preserving equipment, learned abilities, proficiencies and other lasting progress. Take on stronger enemies, earn increased rewards and invest in permanent Temple upgrades.
