Task Town is an idle game that turns the clicks and keystrokes made while using your computer into Town Coin, allowing you to rebuild and grow a quiet town together with its animal residents.

A New Chief Has Arrived—Bring Smiles Back to the Town!

A small town once filled with the laughter of animals has fallen silent.

As the newly appointed chief, you will collect Town Coin and welcome new residents and tools to the town. 
Assign each resident a suitable tool and place them around the town to increase production.

As more residents arrive and the town level rises, new buildings and areas will be unlocked. 
The once small and quiet town will gradually become lively again.

Turn Your Everyday Inputs into In-Game Rewards

Earn Town Coin through mouse clicks and valid keyboard inputs while the game is running.

There is no need to focus on repetitive actions. Simply use your computer as usual and watch your town grow naturally.

49 Animal Residents and 40 Tools

Collect 49 animal residents with unique appearances and personalities, along with 40 different tools.

Animals and tools have their own grades and levels. Assigning a resident their designated tool grants a special production bonus.

Automatic Production Through Resident and Tool Combinations

Assign tools to the residents you have collected, and they will automatically produce Town Coin over time.

Consider which tool should be assigned to each resident, discover more efficient combinations, and create your own production structure.

A Little Town That Stays with You on Your Desktop

Task Town allows you to keep your town visible on the screen while using other programs.

Clicks pass through transparent areas that contain no game elements, allowing you to interact with your desktop. You can also freely switch between compact and expanded views whenever needed.

New Challenges After Rebuilding the Town

After fully rebuilding the town, you can either remain in your current town and continue growing or begin a new run at a higher difficulty.

Take on Normal, Hard, and VeryHard difficulties to discover new residents and collectibles.

How to Play

Click and type → Earn Town Coin → Draw animals and tools → Assign tools to residents → Automatic production 
→ Upgrade growth elements → Increase the town level → Rebuild the town

Basic Controls

• Left and right mouse clicks: Earn Town Coin

• Keyboard input: Earn Town Coin from valid inputs

• Left-click UI elements: Use the draw, inventory, collection, placement, and upgrade menus

• Drag the town: Move the town’s position in expanded view

• Click an animal resident: Enlarge the selected resident and have the camera follow them

• Click an empty area: Stop the camera from following the resident

• Compact/Expand button: Switch between the small desktop view and the full town view

Task Town began as a project designed to create an experience where everyday life contributes to the growth of an in-game town, rather than requiring players to stop what they are doing to play. 

We wanted to show residents working in a corner of the screen while you work or study, 
with your clicks and keystrokes gradually transforming the town.
