Stick Scholars is a chaotic online party game where players must parkour to school, answer trivia, and sus out a hidden saboteur (the Class Clown). The Class Clown attempts to prevent the group from graduating by intentionally missing trivia questions, pretending to be bad at parkour, or making the parkour more challenging by using items. The Class Clown can’t be too obvious though, or they risk the group voting to suspend them.
1. ROLE ASSIGNMENT
Scholars want to graduate. The Class Clown wants to prevent that by any means necessary.
2. PARKOUR
Before every quiz, students must survive a goofy and chaotic 2D parkour run to school. Fail to make it to class on time (or die along the way), and that player automatically fails their portion of the trivia quiz, making it harder for the group to achieve a passing grade. There are ridiculous obstacles on the way to school, such as fiery trash cans and big locks blocking the way. Don't choke on the jumps or people might think you're the Class Clown!
Watch out for items the Class Clown actively places! (Example: Fake Block shown below.)
3. TRIVIA
Each player that makes it to school must answer a trivia question that is specific to them. To pass the trivia quiz, the group must collectively score high enough to get a passing grade. Class Clowns may intentionally answer incorrectly, or blend in with the Scholars early on in the game by answering questions correctly.
Do you know your friends' knowledge well enough to sus out the Class Clown?

4. VOTE
After the results of each trivia quiz, everyone votes on who they think is the Class Clown. The player with the most votes is temporarily suspended for the next trivia quiz only. Suspended players have no impact on the following quiz score as they do not participate in answering a trivia question.

SCORING & END GAME
If the Scholars pass more than the required number of quizzes, they graduate! If not, the Class Clown wins. By default, the group needs to pass at least 6 out of 10 trivia quizzes to graduate.
CUSTOM GAME SETTINGS
To accommodate a large variety of knowledge and skill levels, there are many settings the host can adjust to tailor the parkour & trivia difficulty to your group's needs. I recommend starting with the default trivia settings for the most balanced gameplay though.
HELPFUL TIPS
Here’s a few additional aspects of Stick Scholars worth knowing:
Extra Credit: If the group scores 100% on a quiz, the group receives 10% extra credit for the following quiz. That means the group only needs 50% on the following quiz to achieve a passing grade of 60% (50% + 10%).
Class Clown Items: Even a suspended Class Clown can use their fake blocks and smoke grenades to sabotage. The Class Clown gets 1 Smoke Grenade and 1 Fake Block per quiz. Unused items stack up to 3 items of each. To quickly pick up your items as the Class Clown during the parkour, you can use the default keyboard keys Q and E. This allows you to quickly place your items while still moving around, so as not to draw suspicion on yourself.
Variable Jump Height: The jump height of your character varies based on how long you press the jump key. Tapping the jump key will do the shortest jump. Pressing and holding the jump key will do the highest jump.
Tungsten Cubes: Heavy Tungsten cubes can be moved by pushing them.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Good Internet Connection.
People to play with. There are no public lobbies. Note: There is a single-player practice mode if you just want to do parkour and trivia by yourself and achieve grades/achievements. However, this will not have the social deduction aspect of the game. Likewise, in CO-OP MODE (2 player lobby), you work with one friend to graduate together without any Class Clown interference.
