About Spirit Cleansers

What to Expect?

Story - You play the game as Akiya, a priest, who was hired to cleanse a cursed home that has been overrun by spirits. Akiya meets Haruki, a warrior guard of the cursed estate. Together they must navigate the home's gardens searching for spiritual mischief. They will engage in combat to remove the cursed energy in hopes of finding the source and cleansing it; saving the estate.

Gameplay - There are two phases of gameplay in Spirit Cleansers.

Phase 1: You play as Akiya, the priest, where you can loosely explore the surrounding areas, looking for cursed objects. Haruki will escort you, and there will be some light dialogue as you explore.

Phase 2: This phase occurs only when you find a cursed object. In phase 2, the player controls both Haruki and Akiya, each character with unique abilities, in turn-based combat against cursed objects and spirits.

Key Features

Unique Art Style - Hugely inspired by Heian, Japan. Explore a visually captivating estate with a mix of 3D and 2D assets textured to feel like you are moving through a scroll.
