Upgrade your deck with various equipment as well as purchasing new cards. Combat requires strategy and thought. A standard JRPG type combat with a twist of having cards drawn each turn instead of traditional fixed skills.

Protecting and managing the city properly will reward you romantically as well. A knightess that's doubtful of your worthiness as her lord, a powerful sorceress and your fiance that's been hurt by your degenerate actions prior to your transmigration into the game, a legendary assassin that's been hired to kill you by corrupt officials in the city, and a princess of a falling kingdom that seeks to claim you for her own.
