The world is asleep. You're still on the air.
Twelve strange dream tapes wait on the shelf. Three broadcast slots need a lineup. One tiny station has to make it to morning.
Dream Broadcast Simulator is a cozy strategy game about programming a surreal late-night station. Read the tapes, choose three, place each one where it belongs, tune the signal, and find out what your sleeping audience actually wanted.
Program the night
Every broadcast has three slots: Midnight, Deep Night, and Morning Drift. Each dream brings its own mood, slot fit, and hidden frequencies. A comforting memory may rescue the morning. A nightmare may be exactly what Deep Night needs. Two unassuming tapes can find a shared frequency and turn an ordinary lineup into the night's breakout signal.
The decision is compact. The consequences are not.
Tune the signal
When the lineup goes live, you still have to land the transmission. Tune three drifting waveforms into phase and lock the signal. A harmonic lock can lift the entire show; a noisy one can drag a brilliant lineup back down to earth.
Read the room after every show
Broadcast results explain what happened: the score in every slot, timing quality, audience growth, currency earned, combo effects, and a clear read on what to try next. Mara, your station archivist, calls out the risky choices, accidental brilliance, and strange habits shaping your run.
Build a stranger station
Spend credits on signal tools, audience boosts, and discovery equipment. Reveal deeper frequencies, collect new tapes, encounter dream mutations, and keep refining the station one broadcast at a time.
Archive, fuse, and challenge yourself
The Dream Journal records every discovered tape, its moods, frequencies, broadcast history, and the lessons you have learned. In the Fusion Lab, combine two discovered dreams into a deterministic hybrid tape with inherited traits and its own playable identity. Your creations return to the nightly shelf and remain available in the collection.
Want a sharper test? The rapid-broadcast challenge tracks ten complete broadcasts prepared in under five minutes, rewarding decisive programming without turning the core game into a reaction test.
