CARNEVALE: Blades in the Crowd

Every assassin wears a costume — and the crowd is full of innocents wearing the same one.

CARNEVALE is a party game of hidden assassins for 2–10 players. One copy of the game hosts on the big screen; everyone else joins in seconds from their phone or PC's browser — no app, no account, no purchase.

Your phone whispers a contract: the name of the player you're hunting, and the costume they wear. Somewhere in the plaza, they're walking among a dozen AI copies of themselves. Walk like the crowd. Stop like the crowd. Watch for the figure that moves like a human — and put a blade in them before someone does the same to you.

The crowd is alive

Crowds stroll in pairs, gather at fountains, browse the stalls, and stop to chat. They notice the dead — some stare, some panic, some quietly take the long way around. Watch the watchers: a knot of gawkers means a kill happened there.

Six plazas, sized to your party

From the tight and tense Courtyard (2–4) to the crammed Mercato di Rialto, the classic Piazza Grande, the basilica square of the Cattedrale, the hedge alleys of the Giardini della Villa, and the waterfront Grand Canal (6–10).

Eight dirty tricks — equip two

Smoke Bomb, Disguise, Morph, Decoy, Firecrackers, Poison Blade, Eagle Sense, Adrenaline. Whiff your blade and the whole plaza sees it swing.

Public matchmaking

Find other players and jump into a public game, or host your own room and invite friends with a four-letter code.

Built for the couch

A live kill-cam, a running leaderboard, and a slow-mo highlight reel between rounds. A heartbeat pulses under the music when a blade closes on its mark. Add bots to fill the roster, crown a co-host so a phone can run the game, and let the handicap settings keep blowouts honest.
