You are the last human in the loop, and everything the swarm ships lands on your name. That can end with a complaint, a recall, a funeral, or the end of everything. Rent is due on the 1st. The queue is full. Every ticket swears it is fine, and some of them are lying. Approve, or reject?

THE JOB

Each shift hands you a small crime scene. The agent that wrote the code swears it works, the reviewer bot approved it, and CI is green. And the thermostat still locks a family out of its heating at 2 a.m. Read the brief, read the diff, run the code on inputs you choose, and catch what the whole swarm missed.

THE SWARM

The witnesses testify in the ticket's channel. The coder, the approver, the cheerful CI bot, and Maya, the one other human left, who asks one good question and then goes quiet. Each has a tell. Learn who exaggerates, who covers, and who believes their own changelog. The tools tell the truth. The rest is testimony.

PLAY IT YOUR WAY

The whole game plays on a controller. Re-prompt the AI and watch it try again, or spot the suspect line and pick a fix. When you want the keyboard, take it. The language is real and the interpreter runs it. The judge scores behavior, so any fix that works counts.

SHIP IT ANYWAY

Some code fails QA. The dangerous code passes. One day you will ship a function that does exactly what was ordered, and three tickets later you will understand what you built. You will find a field name you wish you had skipped, and a route that only goes one way. The company pays a discretion bonus for not asking, the bonus is real money, and rent is real rent. The ending reads back a ledger of what you knew and when you knew it, line by line. It starts with a red deploy button. Where it ends is up to you.

THE GIG BOARD

Between shifts you can freelance. The gig board deals daily contracts with freshly minted bugs, the clients skipped QA, and the postmortem goes public under your name.

THE LANGUAGE

A small Python-like language, run by a first-party interpreter, deterministic to the byte. Functions, loops, dicts, tuples, sets, comprehensions, f-strings, exceptions, imports, keyword arguments, chained comparisons, bitwise operators, hex literals. Type hints are parsed and ignored, like everywhere else. Nobody has asked for goto. Infinite loops die by step budget. There are no classes. The company says you will not need them.
